All inlingua centers are commited to high quality standards. When it comes to dealing with language learners from abroad additional quality standards become relevant to insure a successful immersion in a foreign culture.

School & Courses

Trainers

Our trainers are native speakers and have been extensively trained in the inlingua direct method within the inlingua network. They use proprietary inlingua materials and follow the inlingua’s Trainers Resource Pack (where applicable).

Group size

inlingua is committed to small groups. The smaller the group, the more you talk, the faster you learn a language. The maximum group size is always clearly indicated in the offer.

Language center

The center has been in the market for at least two years and/or has fulfilled quality standards of an importing center set by the Board of inlingua International. International standards in terms of size of classroom, infrastructure or any other criteria are matched or even exceeded.

Accommodation

Host Family

Host families offer either single bedrooms or shared bedrooms (only with persons of the same sex and different mother tongue and in case of minors, within an age difference of 3 years!) The maximum number of guests cannot exceed 2 (only 1 native speaker per mother tongue). Exceptionally there can be up to 4 guests per family if indicated clearly in the offer.
Daily cleaning of bathrooms, living room and kitchen, and at least a weekly cleaning of bedrooms and change of linens are provided. Quality checks are made regularly by the inlingua center. Host families have to be willing to spend time with the boarders daily.

Other

Information about other types accomodation such as rooming, apartment, guesthouse or hotel, are provided by the center. Arrangements are usually made by the student himself.

Offers

Offers are formulated clearly and accurately and are subject to review (e.g. breakdown of inclusive prices and additional costs). The offer includes information on maximum group size, currency, use and cost of inlingua materials, etc.

Forms

The following forms are provided:

  • Standard information sheets (i.e. city map, shopping, excursions, phone calls, etc.)
  • Registration form with clear booking terms (i.e. terms of payment, cancellation, etc.)
  • Pre-departure information including relevant details regarding the course, placement test, accommodation, etc.)
  • Customer satisfaction questionnaire (evaluation sheet) at the end of the course
  • Certificate of attendance at the end of the course
