Whisky Tasting in Edinburgh
A classroom is a great place to improve all of your language skills. But what makes your stay even more worthwile is the time spent outside the classroom.
On Monday evenings inlingua Edinburgh welcomes its new clients at the Scotch Malt Whisky Society, a private club for Whisky friends and their friends. All the society's whiskies are single cask strength and not available in any other shop. Inlingua Edinburgh joined this club so that its clients can benefit from the use of a private club for coffee/ tea, lunch or dinner. Alternatively, inlingua Edinburgh holds Whisky Tasting Evenings at the language centre on Monday evenings with the Society's own whisky taster. Either way, our clients have a chance to learn more about Scotland's famous drink, its history and other general and useful information on Scotland. Inlingua Edinburgh is a corporate member at the Society with transferable membership cards. Hence the clients can use the Society's facilities during their stay in Edinburgh.
Queen Street
An elegant town house close to inlingua Edinburgh with contemporary interior, an elegant fine dining restaurant on the ground floor and an informal bar for lunch, dinner or just a drink during the day or evening. Especially during the busy month of August the Society is a calm haven in the busy city centre. Closed Sundays.
The Vaults/Leith
The original society situated in an old warehouse in the harbour area of Leith. A cosy club room with comfortable traditional furniture, open fire places and an informal atmosphere make this one of the nicest places in town for drinks, lunch and dinner. Closed Mondays.
