Spanish lessons focus on specific language skills, such as speaking, grammar, listening and pronunciation, using the inlingua method. Moreover, it’s the only school within the inlingua network authorised to perform the DELE-exams, which are the only exams leading to official certification in the Spanish language.
Facilities
The inlingua Barcelona Spanish Department is located in an old, recently-renovated building in the city centre (a 5-minute walk from Plaça Catalunya). It is a small department that does have room for more than 35 foreign students at a time, which assures a high level of personal attention. People feel very much at home here, as our centre is comparable to their usual environment. In addition, it is equipped with all the facilities in keeping with a modern school of languages.

Students at inlingua Barcelona come from all over the world, although they mainly come from Europe. Most of our students are between 20 and 35 years old; however, we also teach many executives over 45 who work at international companies or public institutions.

The official certificates of the Spanish Language are those submitted by the Instituto Cervantes, governed by the Spanish Ministry of Culture. Their levels correspond to the Common European Framework (CEF) and are denominated DELE (Diploma del Español Lengua Extranjera). The examinations are realized at fixed dates 3 times a year in the facilities of the Instituto Cervantes worldwide, in some universities and in a very few private language schools all over the globe. inlingua Barcelona is one of them.
